SoftwareHut Opens an Office in Olsztyn

Over 50 specialized jobs will be created by SoftwareHut, a member of the TenderHut capital group, which implements global IT projects. The company will hire programming specialists from the local market, who will have the opportunity to create applications and software for the global market. Besides creating jobs, SoftwareHut will actively support the local programming community by organizing regular industry meetings.

The grand opening took place on the 14th of December. It was performed by Robert Strzelecki, vice-president of the TenderHut capital group, which incorporates SoftwareHut. Employees will have over 500 square meters of office space on 6 Staromiejska Street, at the very center of the city. There are over 800 future programmers studying at the University of Warmia and Mazury. Until now, they often left the region after graduating in order to find more ambitious projects and better salaries. From this day forward, they have other options – says Robert Strzelecki. In cities like Olsztyn, there are a lot of young and talented programmers for whom our company will guarantee professional growth, the possibility of implementing international projects and a competitive salary – Strzelecki adds.

Development for both employees and the region

Employing half a hundred specialists on the Olsztyn labor market is the first step. This team of developers, that is software programmers, is the basis on which SoftwareHut is planning to construct the entire ecosystem of IT specialists in Olsztyn. During the first phase, the company will hire Front-end, Java and .NET developers as well as software quality assurance engineers. The aforementioned specialists will implement global projects for International companies. This is very important from the workers’ point of view, because until now, their only possibilities were to work in projects for the government sector or to be outsourced to large companies. Establishing SoftwareHut will inevitably change the local IT labor market.

Opportunity for students

Another aspect of the plan to create a strong environment within the IT industry is to develop an internship program for students. We are aware of the fact that the number of qualified specialists is insufficient. Therefore we want to actively participate in creating the local market of experts starting from their academic education by giving students the opportunity to take part in our projects – says Paulina TyneckaHR specialist and Office Manager in Olsztyn.

Building the industry’s ecosystem

That is why we are initiating the creation of the .NET and meet.js groups to integrate the programmer community. I perfectly understand how important it is to create social groups, because besides managing a company, I’m a programmer as well – explains Robert Strzelecki. – That is why we are going to support initiatives that are open to all. We are introducing our approach by sharing our office for social gatherings and inviting prominent members of the IT communityRobert Strzelecki adds with pride. The company is well known for such initiatives. For example, it created the SoftwareHut Speaking group, where experts participate in various IT events as speakers.

Stability and support

Entering the Olsztyn market is one of the strategic decisions of the entire TenderHut capital group. The company is developing rapidly and was one of the 25 Polish companies honourably mentioned in the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) ranking. Stability and the opportunity to participate in international projects is an important aspect of every programmer's career. This is the reason why TenderHut, SoftwareHut's parent company, was established. We can implement the largest projects, and our employees are satisfied that their work is appreciated worldwide - Robert Strzelecki says with pride. And there is much to be proud of. Such activity allowed the company to triple its employment over the last 3 years. TenderHut currently has 7 foreign offices in key European capitals and New York. In two years’ time, the company also plans to enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The department in Olsztyn is, without a doubt, a large contribution to the company’s success.
