We are currently looking for a Senior Scala Developer who can join a project of our client from Switzerland. You'll be a perfect candidate if you're experienced professional to lead a team of 3 developers and to develop a key solution which supports document management and workflow in organizations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of 3 developers, fostering a collaborative and efficient development environment.
- Drive the ongoing development and improvement of app, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Operate SaaS offerings in Google Cloud (Zurich Region) and support Kubernetes-based on-premises installations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing systems, pipelines (Bitbucket CI/CD), and backend services.
- Participate in solution engineering with key customers, assisting in integrations and advanced troubleshooting.
- Deliver estimates for quoting purposes and participate in the review of Tender Offers.
You fit in, if you meet these requirements
- 10+ years of coding experience on the JVM, ideally in a team lead role.
- Strong command of spoken and written English (at least B2 level).
- Experience with Scala 2 and the Akka Toolkit (classic) for backend development.
- Knowledge of ScalaJS, React, and ExtJS for frontend development.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence for development and documentation processes.
Nice to have:
- Proficiency in German.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud services.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and XSLT Stylesheets for business logic.
